Vegetables 1024

The 2023 Food as Medicine Update - Nutrition, Functional Foods and Supplements for Health Optimization, held in-person and virtually on Friday, November 17, 2023 was a resounding success!  Many attendees commented on the welcome return to the in-person format, while the Webcast remains a popular adjunct..

The Food as Medicine Update series was created to address the knowledge-gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care.  It is a full day symposium for healthcare professionals designed to address the emerging interest in therapeutic diets for chronic disease prevention.

A special feature of the Food as Medicine Update is the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education.   For 2023 it was awarded to Dr. Dean Ornish, MD in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of therapeutic diets and chronic disease prevention.

We look forward to welcoming you to our next event - the 2024 Food as Medicine Update...

Sincerely,

2023 Food as Medicine Update Steering Committee
